Norway House North Stars Female Bantams make Team Manitoba!

Each year Aboriginal Sport Circle and Aboriginal Sport Bodies host the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC)in various regions of Turtle Island. The 2012 NAHC will take place in Saskatoon, SK on May 6-12, 2012. They will be playing with and against Aboriginal best in the country.

CONGRATULATIONS to NICOLE POKER and JOCELYN MCKAY! We also like to congratulate the parents, Lloyd & Ann Poker and Peter & Angela McKay for their continued support in their girl's hockey year after year.

Four Players Secure Spots with the AAA Norman Wild

Hockey Manitoba introduced AAA Female Bantam League within Manitoba and various regions of the Province established teams for the respective region. The Norman Region consist of North of 53. Teams would host Showcase tournaments in their region and from the tournaments results will go towards the league standings, where the Norman Wild sit in fouth place with a team record 3-4-1. Next showcase will be in Winnipeg on February 10-12, 2012.

Support our AAA Female Bantam fundraisers. February 1st – Pledge Hour, February 2nd – Twoonie Drive at the 4-way and February 4th – Bake and Rummage Sale. Proceeds go toward the girls travel expenses.
